Today is the LAST DAY to join for this year's event! We will be closing registration tonight at 12 AM PST. If you plan on participating this year, make sure you finish your wishlist ASAP so you can get your application in on time!

Membership for the sixth year of our Secret Santa event, CandyCane-Lane, is now open to anyone! If you would like to join, please read the information below for what you need to include in your member request!

The last day to register will be Wednesday, November 25th, so don't forget the date if you plan on joining! Assignments will be sent out within a few days after registration is closed.

To be able to join you must follow these rules:

Be committed to your Secret Santa gift: You MUST finish your gift before or on the due date. (If somehow you realize that cannot finish in time please let us know within, if possible, at least a weeks notice of the due date)

Your gift must be completely of your own creation, which means no tracing or usage of bases.

Do not complain about who you are assigned to unless you have a circumstance where you absolutely cannot draw for them. Assignments will be random.

Now you're ready to send a member request, be sure to read what you need to include otherwise you won't be able to join us!

What you need to include in your member request:

1. Write a journal entry containing three to five ideas for your secret santa to choose to draw. Remember to always provide a link to a reference, especially with an OC!

2. State what you like to draw and in what style (possibly gender if you tend to draw only one gender) (Example: People; Anime)

3. State if you would be able to make an extra secret Santa gift at a week's notice in case someone drops out.

4. Send us a member request (not a note) with all this info at CandyCane-Lane!


Example member request:

"Hi! I really want to join this secret santa group! Here is my list! [link] I like to draw People; Cartoon and Animals; Realistic. And if I'm needed I think I can make an extra picture!"
